Absent Gay opens door for great time by Spearmon over 200m

Americans dominated the 200m at the 31st Memorial Van Damme - IAAF Golden League in Brussels, Belgium on Friday September 14th, 2007 .

Wallace Spearmon ran hard and strong to take the men’s 200m in seasons best of 19.88.

Finishing behind the American was Xavier Carter who ran 20.04 and Jamaican world silver medallist and world junior record holder Usain Bolt, in 20.14.
